Last decades, the technology had occupied an important place in the society. It is common that persons have mobile and the families have a computer in their homes. The access to Internet to improve enough last years, because the government has sets different educational polities to develop the intellectual skills of the children. In the university the students use the technology everyday through of computational programs, scientific projects, and exposition and conference videos.
In this essay, I will describe about how is the technology in my career (public administration). I would like answers two questions ¿ HOW IS THE TECHNOLOGY IN THIS CAREER? WHAT IT NEED improve? In this form, I hope you can understand and comprehend this situation in EGGP-
The student of humanistic career use less tools technologies that the students of scientific career. For example, the student of medicine use different instrument and machines to make projects, the engineer always designs software or programs to store data. However, the humanist careers hardly ever used technology. In my case I only use the computer and internet, but anything more! This situation is reflected in the equipment of the university, because we have a small computer’s room and the teacher is away from these instruments, but in the scientist career there are one computer by every student and the teacher are insert in this new education system because they stimulate to the students use these s modern technologies and resources of learning.
Respect with to the last point, we can say that the majority of the teachers who do the classes in this career haven´t a nearly relation with the technology, because the minority of the teachers use audiovisual presentation, power point or webs sites. We only have traditional classes, where the teacher dictates or say the class and the students copy and read books in their homes, not producing more interaction.
On this point, I can indicate that in the English class, we frequently utilized Internet for improve our linguistics skills, also we listen to conversations (in English) to improve the auditory skill. In addition, in the English level 3 and 4, the students every week write a post (in a blog), about some topic that it has been proposed by the teacher or by themselves. This tool has done that the students increase their vocabulary and improve the knowledge. In this for, it has become a method and a learning recourse that it produces interactions and communications between the students about different topic like politics and entertainment.
In conclusions, we can indicate that there are few the technological tools here, because the university have not implemented the necessary instrument and there isn´t a nearly relation between the technology and the teachers. In my opinion, the principal reason because the faculty has a poor laboratory is because it is a public university, so it hasn’t much money to invest. A solution could be increase the annual tariff, but the university community never would be in agreement. If we have a better economic administration, maybe the situation would be different..
